The team from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Pakistan visited the Women Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) Secretariat to meet with WPC Members and discuss Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) in Pakistan. The meeting was chaired by WPC Dr. Shahida Rehmani and attended by German experts Ms. Marion Boker and Dr. Elisabeth Klatzer. The debriefing meeting was in lieu of a series of consultations with Women Parliamentarians, key stakeholders, and relevant ministries prior to the launch of summary paper on GRB.

Secretary WPC Dr. Shahida Rehmani, during her remarks, emphasized that involving women in the budgeting process is crucial to ensure that their perspectives and needs are considered while designing policies and programs.
